Current research interests and activities related to COVID-19:  Research scientist with USAID - PREDICT, and USAID - One health Workforce Next Generation projects, One Health Disease research including wildlife disease surveillance for emerging zoonotic pathogens in bats and other wild animals and livestock. Novel coronavirus discoveries within the PREDICT project around the world. Social science approaches to understanding drivers for disease emergence, risk factors for spillover, and wildlife ecology and life history that might influence coronavirus shedding at times of stress or seasonal shifts.
