Current research interests and activities related to COVID-19:  ACE2 secretion via exosomes, glycan and inflammatory signaling regulation of SARS-CoV-2 infectivity. I also develop regenerative medicine therapeutics using exosomes derived from mesenchymal stem cells, which may help severe cases of COVID-19, as these exosomes possess potent immunoregulatory properties which may limit issues associated with cytokine storms, etc.
